Psychological Harmony among Kindergarten Teachers

This research aims to identify the psychological harmony among kindergarten teachers. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher adopted the Psychological Harmony Scale based on Kjell's (2011) theory, which consists of (42) verbal items. The researcher verified the face validity of the Psychological Harmony Scale and the consistency of its items, and calculated its reliability using the test-retest method, which yielded a reliability coefficient of (0.82), and using Cronbach's alpha, which yielded a reliability coefficient of (0.90). The researcher administered the scale to a research sample of (100) kindergarten teachers in the Al-Karkh II Education Directorate. The sample was selected using simple stratified random sampling. The research data were analyzed using statistical methods appropriate to the nature and objectives of the current research, including the t-test for one sample and the t-test for two independent samples. The researcher used Pearson's correlation coefficient and concluded that kindergarten teachers possess psychological harmony.
In light of the findings of the current research:
- Kindergarten teachers possess psychological harmony.
- There are no differences in psychological harmony between married and unmarried kindergarten teachers.
- There are no differences in psychological harmony based on years of service (less than five years) or (ten years or more).
There are differences based on academic specialization (kindergarten, other specializations), with kindergarten teachers in other specializations exhibiting higher levels of psychological harmony.
The researcher presented several recommendations and suggestions.
